Lilly Handcrafted

My name is Lilly Parrish, and I am an animator based in Detroit. At CCS, I have achieved three short films, had my animation clip in the 2024 animation reel, and made it on the President’s List. Character-focused animated films heavily inspire my productions. I am incredibly passionate about creating animations that connect my viewers to characters and the story they inhabit. I find animation so special because of its ability to make fantasy into reality, making pictures feel as if they breathe the air we do. My goal is to create stories that suck the viewers in and make them feel as if they are a part of the same story as the characters are. I am looking for remote work, commissions, or in-person studio positions.

Although I specialize in 2D animation, I also write and illustrate comics, design characters, make small sculptures, embroider, needle felt, cosplay ears, and other 3D handcrafted goods.
